The work of the VCH was highlighted at that the AGM of CWAAS, one of the project's biggest supporters, on 13th April. This was an opportunity to celebrate the publication of Kirkoswald and Renwick and outline research plans for the future. This includes our proposed 'big red book' for Lonsdale Ward.

Today, 23 May, the temporary website has been closed down and the new one launched. Bear with us while we make sure all the old links etc work.

Volunteers attended a meeting at Penrith on Monday 8th August. The meeting included a demonstration of the new CCHT website and a discussion of the ways volunteers can contribute to the project.
