CCHT hosted a meeting for VCH drafters on 14th February at Penrith Methodist Chruch.
The event was well-attended by volunteer drafters, many of whom are about to embark on research for their draft articles. The event gave our new drafters a chance to hear from some of the pioneer drafters from last year talk about their experiences. Guidance was also on offer for the Landownership and Religious History sections of a VCH township/parish article.

The History Department at Lancaster University is offering a new distance learning certificate in local and regional history.

CCHT will be at this year's Campus in the City event on Wednesday 4th March in Lancaster. Organised by the Regional Heritage Centre, the event is designed to showcase the work of heritage organisations in the north west.
