Caring for Historic Objects Saturday 20 May, Arnside Institute 10:00 – 15:30

This is a fantastic heritage skills training opportunity organised by Morecambe Bay Partnership. If you own or volunteer with historic collections such as old photographs or paintings, old maps or medals, fabulous old postcards or a library of antique books, learn how to care for them from conservators from Lancashire Conservation Studios so they survive for the next generation. Our experts will do some myth busting and can offer practical advice. There will be also be a chance to try out some basic collection care skills. If you have an item you would like to ask about feel free to bring it along.

Advance booking is essential and places are limited to a maximum of 15 per course. Participants must be aged 16 or over. For further information and to book a place see www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/heritage-skills-day-caring-for-historic-objects-tickets-33848630164 or telephone 01539 734888
