Around forty CCHT members took part in a special evening visit to Lowther Castle, involving a tour of the castle ruins, stables and gardens -
accompanied by the experts involved in the £9m stablisation and restoration work going on there. The castle and gardens are now open to the public and are well worth a visit. For more details, see the Lowther Castle website
